About Allison Hanlon
Allison Hanlon is a singer, flutist, songwriter, graphic designer, visual artist, and performer whose work blends music, movement, storytelling, and visual design into unforgettable experiences.
Known for her captivating stage presence and creative versatility, Allison has spent years building a career that bridges multiple artistic disciplines. Whether performing on stage, designing promotional materials, creating visual art, or developing original music, her passion lies in creating meaningful experiences that inspire connection, wonder, and joy.
Before focusing on her original music, Allison was the lead vocalist of the popular No Doubt tribute band HellaGurl, where she became known for her energetic performances, audience engagement, and ability to command a stage. Performing at festivals, clubs, casinos, and special events throughout the Pacific Northwest, she developed a reputation for delivering high-energy shows that left a lasting impression on audiences.
She was also a founding member of the acoustic duo Flutewood Mac, a unique Fleetwood Mac-inspired project that combined acoustic arrangements, live flute, and theatrical performance. Drawing inspiration from Stevie Nicks, Allison incorporated flowing silk fans, movement, and visual storytelling into the performances, creating a distinctive and memorable concert experience that resonated with audiences.
As a musician, Allison’s current work draws from Christian, Folk, Indie, Country, Celtic, Jazz and acoustic influences. Her performances often combine expressive vocals, flute, and visual elements to create immersive experiences that feel both intimate and inspiring. Whether performing original music, instrumental pieces, winery events, private gatherings, festivals, or community events, she strives to create moments that stay with people long after the final note.
Beyond the stage, Allison is an accomplished graphic designer and visual artist. Through her creative company, Meltamorphosis Designs, she has helped musicians, businesses, festivals, nonprofits, and community organizations develop strong visual identities through professional flyer design, logos, branding packages, album artwork, social media graphics, posters, signage, and marketing materials. Her design work is known for combining artistic creativity with professional polish, helping clients communicate their vision with clarity and impact.
Earlier in her artistic journey, Allison also worked as a professional body painter and wearable art creator, producing imaginative visual pieces for events, performances, and creative projects. This background continues to influence her approach to color, movement, composition, costume design, and stage presentation, contributing to the distinctive visual style she brings to all of her creative endeavors.
Today, Allison is focused on developing original music, collaborating with fellow artists, and building projects that unite music, visual art, movement, and storytelling. Her work reflects a lifelong commitment to creativity, authenticity, and the belief that art has the power to bring people together.
Whether through a song, a live performance, a piece of artwork, or a thoughtfully crafted design, Allison’s goal remains the same: to create experiences that move people, spark imagination, and leave the world a little more beautiful than she found it.
